Doris Brett is a clinical psychologist as well as multi-award winning author. Her books have ranged across several genres, including poetry, fiction, psychology, memoir and children’s fantasy fiction. Her poetry has won a number of Australia’s major literary awards and her books on helping children deal with challenges though therapeutic storytelling have been internationally acclaimed.
She lives in Melbourne with her husband and is so altruistic that she keeps her house in a permanent state of untidiness in order that visitors may experience an immediate thrill of of virtue as they compare the state of their living spaces to hers.
